Starting a campaign is easy

Step 1

Decide to help

Recognize the problem - if you can read this, you probably got some form of an education. Understand that 258 million children don’t get to go to school, and decide to help.

Step 2

Get creative

Donate your birthday. Share your special event.
Run a marathon. Bike across the country. Grow a
mustache. Throw a party. Host an art show. Bake
cookies. Dye your hair. Sell lemonade. Mow the lawn.
Go skydiving. We think you get the idea. You can do some
pretty amazing things to make a difference in the world.
Just have fun!No idea is too big or too small.

Step 3

Set up your fundraiser

Set your campaign goal. Create your page.
Pick a name. Personalize your page with pictures.
Let people know why you are passionate about education.

Step 4

Spread the word

Tell everyone! Reach out to your family, friends, classmates and co-workers and ask them to donate
to your fundraiser. Start with personal messages to
your close contacts. Then launch online. The more
people you tell, the quicker you’ll reach your goal.

Step 5

Keep going

Follow up and continue to update your network
about your progress. Don’t just ask for money, but
tell a story, share why this matters to you. Share pictures about your event. Remind people when your fundraiser
is coming to an end. Express thanks to all those who supported you.

Step 6

Witness your impact

After your campaign is over, we’ll send 100% of your donations to our projects abroad. We’ll keep track of where your money goes and report back to you about
the impact you made - so that you may share it
with everyone else.
