Every Child
has the Right to
Quality Education

THE ISSUE

About 258 million children in the world have no idea
how powerful they could be.

They are out of school. That is roughly 1 out of 5 children. The majority of these children are missing school because they are engaged in child labor. Others are deprived of education due to conflict or disasters. It is estimated that more than 617 million – or six out of ten – children and adolescents of primary and lower secondary school age do not achieve minimum proficiency levels in reading and mathematics.

We are trying to change that.

Why education? It impacts everything.

Education is a Gift that Keeps on Giving

We don’t see people living in poverty as passive recipients of charity, but as full-bodied agents of change who want to solve their own problems and make their own decisions. This could not be made more clear by the stories of the people involved in our projects.

So guess what!?

Building Schools is really just
the beginning for us.
